tasteful
spend their
attention.

Twelve houses. Four drops a week. One floor — built for collectors, craftsmen, and the small number of buyers who still believe an object should arrive with a letter.

The Houses

Curation by domain.
Every house is led by a resident.
N° 004 · HOUSE RULES

We keep
it small.
On purpose.

A buying society, not a marketplace. Five principles that decide everything — including who isn't invited.

  1. Invitation, not application. Membership is extended by existing members or by the Floor's editors. Paid applications aren't accepted. Patience is a prerequisite.
  2. One maker, one story. Every piece on the Floor arrives with a signed letter from its maker. No stock photography. No copy written by committee.
  3. Scarcity by craft, not marketing. If only nine can be made this season, only nine are sold. We do not manufacture urgency — it arrives on its own.
  4. The ledger is sealed. Who bought what, from whom, for how much — is known only to the parties. We think the world has enough public wishlists.
  5. You may return it. We will take it back. If a piece does not feel like yours, the Floor repurchases at the price you paid. The object finds its right owner.
